National co-creation policy dialogue workshop "Problems of the digital pedagogy of vocational education" took place at the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University (RSVPU) with the support of the Regional Science Center of the Russian Academy of Education on January 17, 2020.
The workshop was organised as an event of the network of federal experimental sites on digital didactics in VET. The workshop started by Professor Sergey Dneprov with a discussion of the results of the study devoted to identifying the attitude of VET teachers and trainers to digital didactic tools. Then the participants of the workshop with great interest joined the online training task, which was proposed by Dr Natalya Lomovtseva (Pro-VET team member, Director of the Institute for LLL) and aimed at the discussion of designing online courses and how Pro-VET project can help with the online course development: methodology, e-lab and trainers. It was proposed to use Agile technology for solving the problem of managing cognitive activity of students in the digital space.
The workshop was held in a creative atmosphere, it was attended by 122 participants (57 offline, the rest - remotely). These were the leaders and teachers of vocational educational organizations, general secondary education and higher education organizations. The participants recommended to pay attention to the improvement of VET teacher training by developing knowledge-building model in vocational pedagogy and practice, reflecting the European VET experience.
